Tour Itinerary – Expanded Version

Day 1 – Arrival in Istanbul

Upon landing at Istanbul Airport, you will be warmly greeted by your private guide and driver, who will accompany you throughout your stay. Enjoy a comfortable transfer to your hotel in the heart of the city. After check-in, your guide will provide a welcome briefing, offering insights about the week ahead and helpful tips for navigating Istanbul.
Depending on your arrival time, you may choose to unwind with an optional evening Bosphorus cruise, gliding between Europe and Asia as you admire the city’s illuminated palaces and waterfront mansions. Alternatively, take a relaxing walk through the vibrant streets of Sultanahmet, where centuries-old monuments and lively bazaars set the tone for your Turkish adventure.
Overnight in Istanbul.

Day 2 – Istanbul Old City Tour

After breakfast, embark on a full-day exploration of Istanbul’s legendary Old City — a UNESCO World Heritage Site packed with some of the most iconic monuments in the world.
Begin with the Hagia Sophia, a masterpiece of Byzantine architecture and an enduring symbol of Istanbul’s diverse history. Continue to the elegantly tiled Blue Mosque, famous for its six minarets and breathtaking interior. Wander through the ancient Hippodrome, once the epicenter of Byzantine public life and imperial ceremonies.
In the afternoon, tour the opulent Topkapi Palace, home to Ottoman sultans for nearly four centuries, featuring sacred relics, royal chambers, and lush courtyards. Conclude your day in the bustling Grand Bazaar, one of the oldest and largest covered markets on earth, offering everything from carpets to jewelry.
In the evening, take a domestic flight to Cappadocia and settle into your cave-style hotel.
Overnight in Cappadocia.

Day 3 – Cappadocia Highlights

Start your day by exploring one of the most surreal landscapes in the world. If you wish, join an unforgettable sunrise hot-air balloon ride for panoramic views over Cappadocia’s fairy chimneys, vineyards, and rock-carved valleys.
Your tour begins at the Göreme Open-Air Museum, a monastic complex featuring beautifully preserved frescoed churches carved into volcanic rock. Continue to Pasabag (Monks Valley) to observe the region’s most iconic fairy chimneys — tall, mushroom-shaped rock formations.
At Devrent Valley, discover natural rock towers shaped by centuries of erosion, resembling animals and imaginative figures. Visit the pottery town of Avanos, where artisans continue an ancient tradition along the banks of the Kızılırmak River. Conclude with panoramic views from Uchisar Castle, the highest point in the region.
Overnight in Cappadocia.

Day 4 – Cappadocia to Izmir

Enjoy a relaxed morning in Cappadocia. You may choose free time to shop, take photos, or simply enjoy your hotel, or opt for an additional visit to one of Cappadocia’s famous underground cities, such as Kaymaklı or Derinkuyu, once used for protection during invasions.
In the afternoon, board your flight to Izmir. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel in the city center or along the coast.
Overnight in Izmir.

Day 5 – Pamukkale & Hierapolis Tour

Today you will set out on a full-day excursion to Pamukkale, known worldwide for its striking white travertine terraces formed by mineral-rich thermal waters. Walk barefoot along the terraces as you enjoy the natural warm pools cascading down the mountainside.
Next, explore the ancient Greco-Roman city of Hierapolis, built atop the thermal springs. Highlights include the vast necropolis with thousands of sarcophagi, the impressive theater with views over the valley, the Roman baths, and the ancient agora. Optionally, you may enjoy the thermal pools of Cleopatra’s Sacred Pool, where ancient marble columns lie beneath the water.
Return to Izmir in the evening.
Overnight in Izmir.

Day 6 – Ephesus Tour

Embark on a journey into the ancient world as you visit Ephesus, one of the best-preserved classical cities anywhere on earth. Walk the marble streets where philosophers, merchants, and apostles once traveled. Highlights include the Library of Celsus, the grand Great Theatre where St. Paul once preached, the Temple of Hadrian, the Terrace Houses (optional), and the bustling Agora.
Continue to the nearby House of the Virgin Mary, a revered pilgrimage site believed to be the final residence of Mary. Surrounded by forested hills, the peaceful atmosphere provides a spiritual contrast to the grandeur of Ephesus.
Return to Izmir in the late afternoon.
Overnight in Izmir.

Day 7 – Return to Istanbul & Departure

After breakfast, transfer to Izmir Airport for your domestic flight back to Istanbul. Depending on your international departure time, you may connect directly to your onward flight or extend your stay in Turkey with additional tours.
Your journey through Turkey’s cultural and natural wonders concludes with beautiful memories and newfound appreciation for this timeless land.
